In a continuation of support for the spouse and daughter of fallen Trooper Nolan J. Sanders, members from the North Carolina State Highway Patrol joined Nolan’s widow as she received proceeds from a local fundraiser.
Barrett Johnson and Ryan Carter of Shield Republic, conducted a fundraiser in honor of the service and sacrifice made by Nolan on March 27, 2020. Today, Mr. Johnson presented Mrs. Alexis Sanders with a check valued at $25,895.79. The fundraiser was conducted to assist Alexis and daughter Laney, with current expenses and future college tuition.
Mr. Johnson also presented Alexis with a wood American flag, showcasing Nolan’s call number and badge, donated by J.L. Woodworks.
Colonel Glenn M. McNeill, Jr. attended the event, along with Captain Lawrence McPhail, Lt. Derek Mobley and F/Sgt.
