There is a wide variety of books, and it can be hard to even try to select one, nonetheless find an interesting book that meets your views. This article will tell you some amazing reads for you to start your year “right”. These novels are perfect for any Conservative American to read about and classics that even your kids can read.

In the current liberal world, it can be hard to find a good read. With the recent censorship that has been in the news, it is more important now to read through these great books of like-minded individuals.

Shapiro raises interesting historical facts to help show you, the reader, where our country was founded, where we are going, and what we can do to stop the downward spiral. He calls “disintegrationist” out about their desire to tear down American values, break the country apart, and take away essential rights that the country was founded on. He brings to light the recent changes in politics and enforces the importance of unity. With 5 stars from nearly 6,000 Amazon reviews, this book is a great read for any conservative to start with.
Fortitude- Dan Crenshaw
This man makes me want to pack up and move from VA to TX. His stances on politics, openness to the public, and viewpoints demonstrate the American hero he is along with his views on the country. Over 5,900 readers on Amazon agree as well as his book has 5 star reviews. In his novel, he tells the tale of his own life, his tours as a Navy Seal, and his “solutions” to problems. This book is quoted as a “no nonsense advice book” to help a reader find the strength to overcome any obstacles. He tells you how he began his adventure and is how he wants to lead this country as representative in Congress. Seriously, this book is one you need to read, as this man is going places and you’ll want to know about him.
Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto – Mark Levin
Mark Levin hosts a radio show in which he shares his view, and his book promises the same result. If you want to read a book about how the country is giong, how we got here and what we can do, you’ll be in for a treat. He brings to light how “liberal corrosion” has led us to demise and how we can recover. He addresses many common issues such as global warming, immigration, economy, and so much more within his pages. Another 5 star average from over 4,000 readers, you’ll want to add this to your collection.
Past
While you may want to read up on current times, there are also classics that you can read to show you the history of the Right and novels to make you think. Some of these are based off of a high-school level while others are more advanced. All of these should be considerations for your reading though.
Animal Farm- George Orwell
If you want a read about how how “all animals are created equal, but some animals are more equal than others” than this book is for you! Set on a farm, this novel shows you how a government structure on a farm, representative of the Stalin era in Russia would function. A classic novel and must read for any, it tells the tale of good intentions hat go wrong and then lead to failure on the farm.
Fahrenheit 451- Ray Bradbury
In case you were wondering, 451 degrees Fahrenheit is the temperature where paper can ignite and begin to burn (averaging from 450-480 degrees). This book is about censorship- a hot topic with the social media purge of open Republicans. This story takes you through a tale where literature is illegal and the censorship performed by the government is at its peak. You won’t be able to put this down as you can see how the removal free press and speech were the downfall of this society.
The Federalist Papers- Alexander Hamilton, James Madison, and John Jay.
You didn’t read that wrong. This was written by Hamilton, Madison and Jay. These men were crucial in the foundation of our country and the liberties that we have. The papers they complied include lists of the political structure of the government, copies of the Declaration of Independence, Articles of Confederation, and principles that they used to help draft our essential freedoms. This work is the foundation of our country and should be read by all Americans, especially in times where our freedoms are under attack.
These books are some great reads for you to start off your new year. You’ll want to consider all of these, but can take it slow. Whether you prefer a fiction piece, a classic novel, or the story of a hero, these books will serve you well this year.
