A fundraiser hosted by Shield Republic raised $9,557.49 for the family of the late Panola County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Chris Dickerson.
Dickerson was shot and killed in the line of duty on Dec. 31.
SALT LAKE CITY — The legacy of Herriman police K-9 officer Hondo continues to touch communities across Utah and his story is now reaching those across the country.
“This K9, K9 Hondo did lose his life saving the members of the community there in Herriman and Salt Lake City, so I do think he deserves some very special attention,” Carlie Romero said.
ABC32, the Alabama News Network featured Shield Republic’s donation to fallen Sheriff, Big John Williams of the Lowndes Co. Sheriff’s Department.
Late last year Shield Republic held a Hold The Line Fundraiser for Sheriff Big John Williams. Big John was murdered while trying to quiet a noisy crowd outside a convenience store.
Shield Republic Charities, a charitable foundation in Johnston County, launched a new Christmas giving program this holiday season.
The charity worked with local groups to identify and help families who have been struggling through prolonged difficulties and are not financially able to provide gifts to their loved ones on Christmas Day.
Shield Republic, a company aimed towards promoting support for law enforcement have put a shirt out for sale honoring the fallen Gilchrist Deputies.
The company was started by a former law enforcement officer that worked in various fields for 12 years. The owner says in a statement that he wants his company to show support for all First Responders.
