Smithfield, N.C. — Feb. 10, 2020 — In late December, Sheriff Deputy Chris Dickerson was gunned down on duty after being called to a traffic stop in Gary City, Texas.
To recognize the officer’s sacrifice and to raise funds for his bereaved family, American lifestyle brand Shield Republic launched a “Hold the Line” apparel fundraiser this winter. Through the sale of commemorative apparel honoring the U.S. Army veteran and father of two, Shield Republic Charities was able to present a check to the Panola County Texas Sheriff’s Office for $9,557.49, with all funds to go to Officer Dickerson’s wife and daughters.
100% of the net profits from the Hold The Line Fundraiser for Deputy Chris Dickerson will be donated to his family via Panola County Texas Sheriff’s Office In honor of Deputy Dickerson. On behalf of Shield Republic, the family and department has our deepest sympathy.
