FUNDED: Hold The Line Fundraiser Officer Nathan Martin

The Hold The Line Fundraiser for Officer Nathan Martin has ended. Thank you to all who contributed. With your help, we were able to raise $131.17 to the family of Officer Martin. The donation was presented via the Ventura County Police Department in California.

100% of net profits will be donated to the family of officer Nathan Martin who was tragically killed from a crash as he just left from the Oxnard police department. He was traveling eastbound when a tractor-trailer turned left in front of him. Martin was transported to a local hospital and sadly all life-saving attempts failed and he succumbed to his injuries.

The fallen Officer was a 20 year veteran of the department and had held a number of positions, including patrol officer, property crimes investigator and traffic officer. At the time of his death, he was performing the role of school resource officer at Hueneme high school. Officer Martin left the campus about an hour before the incident.

Officer Martin is survived by his wife and three children. His brother Tom was also an officer with the department. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and the department for this heavy loss. We honor Officer Nathan Martin for your service and sacrifice to the community of Oxnard.
