The Hold The Line Fundraiser for Officer Nicholas Reyna and Lieutenant Eric Hill has ended. Thank you to everyone that contributed. We were able to raise over $7,000 for the families of the fallen heroes. The press release can be read here.
Smithfield, N.C. — Jan. 29, 2020 — After first responders Nicholas Reyna, a Lubbock, Texas police officer, and Fire Lieutenant Eric Hill were fatally struck by oncoming traffic while responding to a crash on an icy roadway in Lubbock on January 11, American lifestyle brand Shield Republic decided to step in to raise funds for the families of the fallen officers.
In late January, the company’s charitable foundation presented the Lubbock Professional Police Association with a check for $7,624.65 to be distributed to the families of Officer Reyna and Lieutenant Hill.
100% of the net profits from the Hold The Line Fundraiser for Police Officer, Nicholas Reyna and Firefighter, Lieutenant Eric Hill will be donated to their families via the Lubbock Professional Police Association in their honor. On behalf of Shield Republic, the families and their departments have our deepest sympathy.
Nicholas Reyna and Eric Hill are the Lubbock, Texas police officer and fire lieutenant who were both tragically killed when a vehicle struck them as they worked on a sequence of accidents along Interstate 27 on Saturday, January 11th.
