Wyatt Maser, Deputy Sheriff Bonneville Co. Idaho donation

FUNDED: Hold The Line Fundraiser for Deputy Sheriff Wyatt Maser, Bonneville County Sheriff’s Department, Idaho

100% of the net profits will be donated in memory of Deputy Sheriff Wyatt Maser to benefit Deputy Maser’s family.

Deputy Maser, 23, lost his life on duty in the early hours of Monday, May 18 while responding to a single-vehicle crash on Bone Road in Bonneville County. What began as a crash response quickly escalated into a tactical situation, as the driver was experiencing mental distress and left her vehicle with a machete in hand. Deputy Maser was working to take the woman into custody as other first responders arrived on the scene to provide backup. That’s when another deputy accidentally struck Maser with his cruiser.

The injured deputy was transported to a medical center in Idaho Falls, where he later lost his life after attempts to revive him.

Maser, who had served with the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office for a little more than a year, is survived by his wife and an infant daughter.
