6 Reasons For President Trump to Win Second Term

The 2020 presidential election is barely a month away. After pulling off a stunning victory in 2016 (which none of the so-called expert pollsters saw coming), Donald Trump is running for reelection.

The past four years have been tumultuous to say the least. Every single day, we have been bombarded with propaganda from the mainstream media, which claims that Trump is the embodiment of all that is wrong in the world today.

The truth, however, is that Trump is the best president we have had in a very long time. Listed below are six reasons why I firmly believe that Trump deserves a second term.

1. Tax Reforms

It is no secret that Trump inherited an ailing economy from Obama. Being a businessman, he understood that unleashing the animal spirits of the market – to borrow a Keynesian term – was the only way to achieve economic growth. So, he passed the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, which not only allowed our economy to recover, but also laid the foundation for a period of high-growth.

From providing tax relief to a large number of American families to doubling the child tax credit, reducing the tax burden of small businesses, and spurring new investments, the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act did everything it was intended to do, as a result of which our economy expanded at a pace never seen before.

Despite the body blow delivered by the Wuhan virus, our economy has already started to recover, which is a testament to the impact of the tax and regulatory reforms undertaken by President Trump.

2. Addressing the Chinese Question

Let’s face it. Our biggest geopolitical enemy/rival/competitor right now is China – not Russia, as the Democrats would have you believe. Russia does not have the economic might, industrial base, or demographics to take us on. China, on the other hand, does.

For nearly two decades, America made the mistake of allowing China to grow at our cost. In its ruthless pursuit for global hegemony, China rigged bilateral trade deals in its favor, devalued its currency deliberately, cooked its books, imposed huge tariffs on US-made goods, and stole our intellectual property without the slightest care in the world.

Trump put a stop to China’s belligerence by imposing tariffs on their products and forced them to come to the negotiation table. The Trump administration is also aggressively going after the deep state assets who are affiliated to the Chinese Communist Party.

No other President – even Republicans like John McCain, Mitt Romney, or Jeb Bush – would have done what Trump did in the last four years. This is why China is petrified of the possibility of Trump getting a second term – rightly so!

3. Reaffirming the Authority of the Executive

For eight long years, the Obama administration allowed the deep state to gain unprecedented authority. Bureaucrats and national security operatives acted in a blatantly partisan manner and went so far as to spy on Trump’s campaign team – breaking laws and violating constitutional rights in the process.

Under the Trump administration, the power of the deep state has been curtailed to a great extent. Bureaucratic tapeworms (kudos to Tucker Carlson for coming up with the term!) like John Bolton and James Comey have been fired and replaced by nationalists who believe in the sovereignty of the United States. Ably guided by Bill Barr, Trump has reaffirmed the authority of the executive, which needed to be done.

4. Restricting Illegal Immigration

Stop Sign Asking To Halt Illegal Immigration

No other President in recent history has done as much as Trump has to check the flow of illegal aliens into our country. From rescinding the Deferred Action for Parents of Americans (DAPA) program to winding down the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, hiring additional ICE agents, and arresting nearly 300,000 illegal aliens to date, Trump has done everything in his power to restrict illegal immigration.

The wall along the Southern border, when completed, can deter illegal immigration – particularly from Mexico – to a huge extent. This is good news for the residents of cities that are located along the US-Mexico border, as they have been bearing the brunt of illegal immigration for a long time now.

5. Peace Deals in the Middle East

Before 2016, if you had told someone that the UAE and Israel will sign a peace treaty or that Serbia and Kosovo will normalize their relations, they would have laughed in your face. Yet in his very first term, President Trump has achieved the impossible.

Earlier this month, the UAE and Bahrain signed a peace treaty with Israel and agreed to normalize diplomatic and economic relations between them. Similarly, Serbia and Kosovo also signed a peace deal to normalize their relations.

This is such a monumental achievement that it merits its own article, but I will tell you this. Trump – despite being a political novice – has done what his predecessors – all of whom are career politicians – couldn’t do.

6. Changing the Political Discourse

For far too long, the mainstream media in the US – barring a few honorable exceptions like Fox News (besides the swamp creature Chris Wallace) and Fox Business (and the petty and sad Neil Cavuto) – has gotten used to blatantly lying and getting away with it. Journalists no longer report stories. Instead, they play fast and loose with facts and push a narrative.

A vast majority of the journalists who occupy our TV space every day are card-carrying members of the DNC. Naturally, they do their masters’ bidding and go after nationalists and conservatives – whom they perceive as their enemies – every single day.

This is why President Trump calls them ‘fake news’ and ‘enemy of the people’. He is justified in using these terms to describe our journalists, as their false reporting has a cost. The false stories they plant and the narratives they push divide Americans, incite racial tensions, and harm innocent people.

Take a look at what is happening right now in our country. Innocent people are getting beat up, police officers are being shot at, businesses are being burned to the ground, and peaceful residential communities are being terrorized by violent mobs.

This is the result of a blatantly partisan media pushing the narrative that America is an irredeemably racist country and structures of oppression can only be uprooted through violence.

By pointing out their hypocrisy, President Trump has managed to destroy the reputation of several news channels and newspapers, which were considered ‘objective’ and ‘neutral’ by many people up until a few years ago. This is an achievement in itself!

As you can see, Trump not only kept his promises to the American people, but actually managed to achieve so much more. He stands for order, peace, and prosperity, while the other side stands for chaos, violence, and economic redistribution. So, if you are a single-issue voter or a fence-sitter, make the right choice on November 3rd. Let’s turn the country red!
